Wednesday 5:15-6:15 - Restorative Yoga
Lots of folks have asked for more gentle yoga so here it is! Restorative yoga is a sequence of very gentle yoga poses performed mostly on the floor supported by props such as blankets, blocks, and straps. Restorative yoga is great for anyone: the stressed out athlete (you know who I'm talking about!), folks with injuries and movement limitations, beginners, experienced yogis who would like to explore the more meditative aspects of the practice. Whoever you are, you will benefit from this gentle practice set to relaxing music.
Friday 5:15-5:45 Body Shred
That's right! Just half an hour. This is a workout that will “shed fat, define muscle, transform the look of your entire physique, and dramatically enhance your overall health and athletic performance”. High intensity, endurance based workout that uses an interval system: 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of ab work. Repeat. Bring 3-8lb dumbbells.
